Details
In this wellbeing-focused panel discussion, Dr Laura David, GP and Founder of Smart About Health (a doctor-led consultancy working with many law firms) will speak candidly with:
Sara Bailey, Senior Partner at Trowers & Hamlins
Caroline Turner-Inskip, Real Estate Partner and Global Head of Wellbeing at Simmons & Simmons
Ben Ward, Corporate and M&A Partner, Mental Health Ally at Allen & Overy
Catherine Ritchie, Wellbeing and Experience Manager, Clifford Chance
The conversation will dive into how international firms are focusing on leaders and partners to set the tone across their organisations when it comes to health and wellbeing. We will discuss both the benefits and challenges, including how to create positive narratives through leadership, and improve cross-generational collaboration.
Whilst leadership buy-in and visibility for wellbeing is crucial, the role of partners in wellbeing at firms has traditionally been underestimated. Partners typically engage less with wellbeing initiatives firms are running. With buy-in to wellbeing from partners, a more open culture can ensue, where health and wellbeing is a priority, and navigating the high stress environment can be improved at a personal and systemic level.
