As the world of work continues to undergo rapid transformation, the push for pay transparency is being driven by many factors, including government legislation requiring employers to provide insights on pay practice. At the same time, employees are demanding more openness on how pay works inside their organisation.
How transparent is pay, really?
Today’s conversation is around pay transparency and how it has evolved significantly from even just a few years ago. It is fast becoming a key component in the creation of a positive working environment with open communication and an equitable working culture at the core.
It is no longer acceptable for law firms to hide behind closed doors regarding salary information, especially as the demand for pay transparency is only increasing among candidates and employees.
However, there are differing views on how transparent organisations should be. None more so than between those entering the workplace now, and those leading at the top. There are also substantial challenges in being more transparent in your reward and lifting the lid on pandora’s box comes with a whole new set of issues.
In this webinar ‘The Journey Towards Greater Transparency in Reward’, Director of Consulting at Innecto Reward Consulting, Justine Woolf, will explore the drivers for increased transparency, the challenges this presents employers and what some firms are doing to progress on this journey.
Justine will be joined by Andrea Pankhurst, Head of Human Resources at Bird & Bird and Carol White, Head of Reward at TLT.
Free for members to join. £50 +VAT for non-members.
